Over the past two weeks, we’ve been focused on implementing the new version of the platform and gathering early feedback and suggestions from you all on Discord. Thank you so much for your support and guidance in helping us improve BC and create something special together!
We’ve just released the first round of fixes and improvements based on your initial feedback, and now it’s time to give you a tour!
Introducing the Leaderboards
This first release of the leaderboards gives you fresh insights into your global and national Impact.
Leaderboards are now available next to the globe—just click on the yellow section at the top. From there, you can switch between your national ranking and the global leaderboard.
How to rank up on the leaderboard?
Your ranking is based on your Impact Score, which increases as the community engages with the beats you share. Every listen, like, share, or flip from other music makers earns you additional Impact Points.
And it works both ways! By exploring the globe to find inspiration and creating your own versions, you engage with other members' music through listens, likes, shares, and flips. These actions also help grow your Impact Score.
Some additional fixes:
- Globe Scrolling (Mac): We fixed some bugs affecting scrolling on Mac—navigation is now much smoother and more fluid.
- Color Palette Update: We refreshed the color palette in the mDAW and Collection (especially for new projects).
- Scroll Speed: Improved scroll speed consistency across the platform.
- Waveform Rendering (Mac): Fixed issues with waveform rendering on Mac for a better visual experience.
